On Monday, 21 October we welcomed all of our new students and teachers to Rowandale School. This is a tradition at our school where the students take a leading role in welcoming everyone. Our boys were lead by our Head boy Peni Kautai for our kai haka and our girls were lead by Roslyn England for kai karanga who is our head girl.
We had two new teachers that joined our staff last term. They are Bobby Peacock who is a release teacher and Sandra Jenkins who joins Team Tumanako. I hope they enjoy being a part of our community and helping our children grow! We also had many children that have started their school journey by reaching the great age of 5 and we have others that have moved into our community.
